Product Description

The MVI69-PDPS from ProSoft Technology is a dedicated PROFIBUS DP slave interface engineered for Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers. Designed to install directly into the 1769 Compact I/O backplane, this module allows Rockwell Automation PLCs to operate as PROFIBUS DP slaves within multi-vendor control architectures.

By supporting PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1 services, the module enables deterministic cyclic I/O exchange as well as acyclic parameterization and diagnostics. This makes the MVI69-PDPS suitable for integration with Siemens S7 PLCs, DCS platforms, and other PROFIBUS DP master systems without the need for external protocol gateways.
