Bently Nevada 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor

Description

The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a four-channel monitor designed to interface with Bently Nevada proximity transducers. It conditions input signals to provide various vibration and position measurements, comparing them with user-defined alarms. Users can program each channel with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform functions such as radial vibration monitoring, eccentricity measurement, REBAM analysis, thrust position monitoring, and differential expansion measurement. Its primary functions include:

• Continuous machinery protection by comparing monitored parameters with configured alarm setpoints to trigger alarms.
• Provision of essential machine information for operational and maintenance purposes.

Each channel typically generates static values based on the conditioned input signal. Users can configure alert and danger setpoints for these static values. The monitor channels are programmed in pairs, with Channels 1 and 2 performing one function while Channels 3 and 4 perform another (or the same) function.
