2. Hazardous Area Installation:

Removal and Insertion:

• Power Down Requirement:
  • The unit must not be removed or inserted with the system power energized.
  • Ensure the power is de-energized before disconnecting any carriers or LocalBus Extender cables.
  • The product must not be unplugged unless the system is de-energized or the area is confirmed to be safe.
• Interconnection Limit:
  • Total length of I/O carriers and LocalBus Extenders must not exceed 6.5 meters.
  • Interconnecting cables between enclosures must be placed in a conduit.

Maintenance and Adjustment:

• User Serviceable Parts: This unit contains no user serviceable parts and should not be disassembled.
• Calibration: Not required.
