The 9905-001 SPM-A Synchronizer adjusts an offline generator’s speed setpoint. This adjustment ensures its frequency and phase align with another generator in the system. Once both match, the synchronizer automatically issues a contact closure signal to close the circuit breaker.
To accommodate different generators, the 9905-001 features adjustable dynamics. It operates within a 50–60 Hz frequency range and supports a ±10° phase angle. However, it does not perform voltage matching.
