Product Description

The Schneider Electric 140DRA84000 is a relay-based discrete output module developed for the Modicon Quantum PLC platform. This standard-format module provides 16 isolated relay output channels, each configured with a single normally open (NO) contact for dependable switching of AC and DC loads in industrial automation systems.

Designed for mixed-voltage control applications, the 140DRA84000 supports output ranges from 20–250 V AC and 5–150 V DC, allowing integration with relays, contactors, pilot devices, alarms, and electromechanical loads. The module combines high electrical durability with internal overvoltage suppression, making it suitable for continuous-duty industrial environments.

Each output channel uses Form A relay contacts and includes status indication through dedicated front-panel LEDs. The module also features reinforced isolation between channels and the backplane bus, improving operational safety and reducing electrical interference in control cabinets.
